Toyota says it is also offering an upgraded version of the Corolla’s all-wheel drive system.
It comes with a range of new technologies including adaptive cruise control, a lane-keeping assist system, and an automated braking system.
It has been redesigned to offer better efficiency, improved safety, and better comfort.
The new Corollas are also expected to feature more sophisticated safety technologies such as a crash avoidance system, adaptive cruise controls, a rearview camera, and lane keeping assist.
A range of other upgrades are also planned, including an upgraded infotainment system, an enhanced ride and feel system, a more efficient battery, a wider wheelbase, a new driver-assist function, and the introduction of a more advanced steering system.
The Corolla is Toyota’s first all-electric sports car since the new Civic sedan.
It is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and features all-new electronics, including a nine-inch touchscreen infotech screen and an eight-inch touch screen infoteche, which is used to interact with the vehicle and operate various features.
The car is expected to go on public sale in October for $38,990.
