Nude star John Legend has spoken about his sexuality on “NCIS” tonight.
The rapper, who has been a member of the “Nude” franchise for years, told “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that he doesn’t feel like he has to hide his sexuality in order to perform.
“I don’t feel bad about it, man, because that’s the nature of being gay,” Legend said.
“You have to be honest with yourself, and then you go and make the best of it.”
Legend said that he’s been dating a man for the past six years, but that the relationship is in a “dramatic downward spiral.”
“He’s a really good friend, and I’m happy to share that with you,” Legend added.
“I don’ feel like it has to be a secret to share, and there’s a lot of other people out there who are out there with the same thing.”
He also said that his career is “pretty much the same as ever,” adding that he “couldn’t be happier” with his work and that he feels like he is “doing what I love to do.”
He’s also a big fan of “Crazy Eyes” and said that it was “a really great movie” in its time.
“That was the movie that got me into music and what I do now,” Legend continued.
“It was a really cool movie, and it helped me understand how I was doing music.”
In addition to his sexuality, Legend said that while he has no plans to release a new album anytime soon, he’s still working on his own music.
“It’s definitely something that I’m thinking about, and when I do do that, it’s going to be something that will be the best thing ever,” he said.
“When I get it, I’ll definitely have it ready for when I’m in the studio.”Read more:
